To ensure the public interest is protected, Midwives are regulated and must obtain a practice permit to practice in Alberta. The College of Midwives of Alberta (CMA) is the governing body established to regulate the Midwifery profession in Alberta. 

 

The CMA is dedicated to supporting Midwives in their delivery of high quality, safe and ethical care to the public of Ontario.
